"Processing" or "Preparing for Shipment"?

I originally placed my order through Verizon but when they changed my ship date to 10/21 and couldn't sell Applecare+ I cancelled the order and placed an order with Apple. By that time it was 8pm Friday night.
I received a confirmation email stating delivery on 10/14.
When I check order status on Apple it says "Processing".
Next step is "Preparing for Shipment".

What status is your order in right now and when did you place the order?

Placed my order at 4:41 AM (I took a screen cap lol) on the 7th. Sprint gave me my tracking number but no status until probably tomorrow at the earliest. Hopefully it comes a day before release like iPhone 4 did.

how to save anguish and avoid stress: Only allow yourself to get excited when you have a tracking number, and the tracking page for your package says "out for delivery".

Lesson learned on the Verizon iP4 launch...
