iPhone 5 Email Client

Currently a BlackBerry user with a personal web domain that uses POP email. Obviously I have instant email with BIS. Without configuring my POP to route and forward thru another system such as Google etc., is there any improvement (push) with the native email client for a simple POP account or am I still dealing with a minimum of 15 minutes polling or manual refresh to get my messages?

Ok. Well that's a misleading title, but anyway... It won't push with POP account. You either set it to manual (when you open mail app) or fetch (a set time). Which I believe the shortest is 15 minutes.

If you have your own domain you may want to consider trying Google Apps Free Edition.

I added my gmail account as a microsoft exchange one and that actually pushes them when I receive them every time.
