If you had to pick JUST ONE new feature...

So I've been hearing all of the rumors about the new features of the iPhone 5. But just out of curiosity, if you had to pick just one new feature out of all of the ones expected what would it be?

My concern about the larger screen is battery life. The iPhone battery life is good, but what would adding a larger display to to it? I'm afraid it would hurt it... especially if Apple keeps the same form factor. If they make the phone a bit larger, they could cram a bigger battery in there to offset the power draw of a larger screen...

But, yeah, I could go for a larger screen.

I wouldn't want a bigger screen if they couldn't get a decent battery life out of it. If I wanted horrible battery life I would have stayed with my Droid X.

I like this point cause with a larger screen would probably come the extra space for a bigger battery so its kind of like a two in one because apple could get two more big selling points out of one basic change of the form factor. Although it's unlikely I'm still praying for that bigger screen... :(

A5 chip!!!!!! That's all I would need to get me sold

Assuming the A5 and a better camera are a given the one thing I really want is a larger screen.

And yes, if given the option, I would like an LED indicator but it's not a deal breaker. :)

Many to think of, hard to choose. I guess I'd like the ability to add attachments in an existing email thread.

A5 or larger screen is close but if I had to pick one it would be a larger screen.

Definitely bigger screen!!

Eliminate the home button...pave the way for true multitasking.

I like the idea of a larger screen as well, however I agree with Hank, I don't want it at the expense of battery life.

True multi-tasking I really miss from my BB. That and an led light.

Larger screen AND ....notification light. I know that's 2 things, but I just can't help myself. LOL

Why not give the iPhone 5 a 5 inch screen :).. iono the led light I've never had it...but everyone loves it so i guess that would be cool

SINCE apple is focusing on notifications now.. i would assume they would be doing a LED light... but would they get sued for it?

Bigger screen i really want... i don't care if they make the phone bigger...

Those of you asking for 5" screens and LED notification lights... I'm sorry, just buy a nice Android phone. You're not gonna get what you need on an iPhone.

Is there a way around Flash support? I would love a way to stream content (e.g. soccer games/clips), so any sort of full support for this would be my top pick

I agree, this would be really nice but it will never happen.. Apple has already devoted itself to html5 and they aren't going to changed their minds now

I have to 'manage' music, apps and photos to cram as many of my favorite things as I can on this device.

I don't want to manage the content.
I want to enjoy it.
ALL of it.
I've decided to buy a separate iPod for music if I have to, but carrying 2 devices is not my first choice.

I currently have 20+ GB of music on my 3GS, and I could probably double that if I wasn't constrained by space.

I would love to see mini solar panels as an alternative way to charge battery.

I want this:

I would love a curved, matte touch back. Aluminum would be ideal.

Although more than anything I would love a 720p front-facing camera, or at least widescreen video capture using the front-facing camera. Then I could process vlogs or whatever SO easily with iMovie.

I would agree that an alternative way to charge the battery would be great, but it would take wayyyyy too many solar panels to charge it. If you covered the entire body in them it probably wouldn't be enough

or you could use a regular camera. You won't be seeing a hd ffc anytime soon.

This is a good point cause I don't think apple (or any phone company) spend much time trying to fit a really quality front facing camera just because a lot of iphone owners don't use them very much, or at least most of the iphone owners I've ever talked to...

It's a really popular feature in smartphones now, but I personally, could live without it...

I agree. Most people are happy with the quality that is in the ffc now. I just think it would be too much money spent trying to get such a small sensor on the front for the ffc. I just don't think the tech is there yet it would need a much larger opening than the small hole for the ffc. I think I may have used my ffc about 3 times it is nice to have if I ever wanted to use facetime or something but not something i necessarily need.

I think of all companies Apple would be the first one to unveil a 720p ffc. You know why?

They just launched FaceTime HD on the Mac, and they have already said that in iOS 5.0 the FaceTime quality will be improved.

That's not to say I really think they're going to do it, but they have more reason to than any other company does.

I want a solar panel as the back of the ip5. That way I can charge on the go :) and it would help with the current battery issues that plague smartphones right now.

I would like a larger screen.

i want real push email like BB. If they could do that i would have 2 Iph in my hand tonight. Thats the only thing really keeping me from taking the plunge over to the Iph. Lets face it BB has got it way ahead of everybody when it comes to email

Agree that is one thing I can't understand why companies like apple or google can't get real push email like bb has.

I'd change a few things:

-Lose the glass backing for something more durable like aluminum.
-LED notification light. It would be nice not to have to wake up the phone to see if I had a new message, e-mail, etc.
-Capacitive home button. The current button (in my opinion) is too large and the real estate could be used for something better.

I like the idea of the home button turning into something like webOS' swipe area.
My statement still stands though. Solar panel as the backing :)

I really would like to see Apple implement deleting one number at a time from the recent call list.

To be honest I wish apple would allow for removable sd cards. I know that will never happen but that is something that I do not see why they won't include and that way people can change out cards rather than having to buy a new phone. Then again apple probably does this so people have to do exactly that.

Apple doesn't need a removable SD card for storage as they have iTunes and soon to be iCloud which will do the same thing in a much thinner package. The reason why the Samsung Galaxy S 10.1" tab doesn't have an SD card like the other tabs is because Samsung was going for the thinnest tab on the market and adding an SD card would ultimately add more bulk to the device..... As to needing to buy a new Apple iPhone each year for the storage, why is that? One would still have to transfer the their old apps to the new iPhone anyway, which would use up the same amount of space. Therefore I don't get your logic here when you say Apple does it on purpose to force their customers to get a new iPhone every year.

Ha that went over your head. I meant they would have to buy a larger gb iphone. Also not everyone wants to store everything in the cloud it is a little easier to have an sd card you can use. Apple not including it has nothing to do with thinness look at the sgs2 it has an sd card slot and is thinner than the iphone.
