Question about getting a $149 out of warranty replacement

Hello! Recently my iPhone 4 CDMA(last replaced April 2012 and now out of warranty) has been getting hot while charging just sitting there after about 20 or so minutes. Also, my signal randomly drops down and sometimes my data connection gets "stuck" on 1X(circle of doom) when my sisters iphone is getting 3G and same with my friends. Will Apple swap it out without a problem if I go to the Apple Store and pay $149 or will they make me wait around so that they can "replicate the problem"? These issues don't always happen(except for warming up about 20 minutes into charging) but it happens enough to annoy me enough to pay $149.

they will do Diagnostics with their Computers.... shouldn't be a problem tho... they won't charge you until they decide its replaceable

My battery still lasts (what I think is a normal amount of time) but heats up so do you think they'll still replace it? [BOX][/BOX]

Also, bluetooth was only on for about 1 hour and I was on wifi the whole day mostly just texting and some pandora.
