    Is it à myth if an iPhone is imei locked , could work in another country ? Or maby i just can throw it in the garbage

    only europe as far as i know, and maybe australia, blacklist IMEI's. not in the US. but is bad practice to sell stolen phones there buddy. not to mention, im sure if its reported stolen, there will be some activation issues.

    there is only one reason why IMEI's get blacklisted, its when someone reports it lost or stolen. so explain why the IMEI is bad. and what country are you in.

    My english suck, i cant describe it i think. I live in Sweden.

    Short story, i bought My iPhone from à guy he sold a new phone in box never opend, with recipe. 1 month later he report it stolen. And the carrier locked it by imei nr. I reported it to the police but they could not do anything ;(
