Picture problem

Hello everyone,
Today I had a weird problem with my pictures in my camera roll. I went in to look at my pictures and all of my recent pictures (from the past 48 hours) were replaced by a grey image that says PNG in the middle of it. Any idea what happened here and how to fix it? Thanks!

Plug your phone into iTunes and uncheck the synch option for your photos. Then re-check the box and re-synch. See if that helps.
