Deleted texts keep showing up

So, I tried sending two pictures to my email from my iPhone 4. One went through to my email, but the other went through as unknown, so it wouldn't send. (the send bar was almost full, but never filled the whole way) I tried deleting the text, hoping that it would quit trying to send it, but everytime I close out my messages and go back into it the message pops up again. I've deleted it multiple times and it keeps showing up. What do I do??

I would try closing restarting the phone. That has worked to fix and weird email glitches I have had in the past.

That or just close the mail app fully (double tap home button then touch the mail app until it wiggles, then click the x like you are deleting it).

I agree with MasterofPuppets, I did a "soft reset" which powers off the device. Hold down the home/circle button and the top/lock button. Hold them both until the device powers off and you see the apple logo appear again. Report back if it works or not. Good luck!
