Syncing problem after upgrade my iPhone/iPad on iOS 5

My iPhone 4 on ios 5 and my iPad 2 on ios 5, will not sync "anything" from my Macbook Pro Lion OS / iTunes 10.5. I have tried it all. Completely Frustrated. Cannot sync Ringtones, Audible.com Books, Apps, or Music to either device from iTunes.
How can i do these? Thanks in advance.

Is your computer recognizing either device when you plug them in?

yes do you have more information on how its not synching? i know on my computer if had stopped synching because the apple mobile service had turned off and also the time wasn't the same as my iPad so it wouldn't. also are you trying to cord synch or wireless synch? ?

Does your device is activated for iTunes account?

Have you tried right clicking on your device in itunes and clicking transfer purchases? usually it transfers stuff from device to itunes but in this case it should do the oppisite.
Hope i helped!

Doing this will transfer purchases from the device to the computer, not the other way around.
