Can you control what browser to opens pages from mail?

Obviously whenever you click on a link in the mail app, or any app for that matter, you are redirected to the page in safari. Is there any way to change this? Maybe open the link in Atomic Browser or Opera?

Have you seen if there are options within those browser options to see if you can set defaults? Or you may want to try settings...safari to see if there is something there.

Unless the app has its own browser, there is no way to change the default.

Are you jailbroken? If so there's an app in cydia called "browser changer" it allows you to select what browser will open selected web links.

I've been waiting on an untethered jailbreak, but I may bite the bullet and check this out.
