Song bar on top of screen

I did the 5.0 upgrade to my iphone4. If my phone is off (black screen) and I double click my home button twice it opens up the phone with the camera icon on the bottom right and some kind of song bar on the top of the screen.

Question: How can I get rid of that song bar, and where did it come from.

It's a built in shortcut that iPhones and iPod's have. Obviously the camera button goes straight to your camera. But the play icon is a shortcut to your iTunes music.

Like he said, those iPod music control was a easy way to axcess the now playing control from the lock screen.

I do wish you were able to either turn this on or off, I think it is quite annoying as well.

Do you have a habit of double clicking the home button? Its a nice little shortcut. For music yeah but I like it for the instant camera access

Yes, and no, I accidently double click it sometimes but regardless, I would just rather not have the feature there if the choice was given.

Just click once instead, or press the power button to wake it up next time
