I'm pumped thats near top quality Wi-Fi speeds. Got 4.01 Mbps and 4 and another time 3.76 Mbps. All tests were using SpeedTest. About 3 weeks ago the highest I was seeing was 2.25 to 2.50 Mbps with 3G. My service is with at&t. Never did I think the speed would hit 4 though. 3.50 i would have thought would be the highest. I've been using SpeedTest for 2 years now. I use it at least once a month on wifi and 3G to basically document speeds. All tests are done within 1 mile of each other to not have differences in locations. I don't know if at&t has done some recent tower upgrades or not. But 1.50 difference in speed is alot in cell phone world.

I just tested wifi (n) on my verizon ip4 and got 15mbps, and I've gotten as high as 17.95mbps in past speed tests. 4mbps is awesome for 3G but it's nowhere near top wifi transfer rates.

Oh yeah I agree. My last wifi test was a little over 5.50mbps with a AT&T modem haven't tested anything else like wifi hotspots, mcdonalds, krystal, starbucks or anything yet.

I've been enjoying these speeds for awhile in Houston. We always get network speed upgrades very early, if not the first:
