Can't view sent emails on MacBook Pro?

I don't see emails that I reply to on my iPhone show up on my email account on my MacBook Pro, very frustrating when I check email or reply to an email on my MacBook Pro.
Any help whoud greatly be appreciated, thanks!

What mail server do you use? (Gmail, other?) Have you looked to see if you have both Sent and Sent Mail folders?

Open up gmail on the browser on your desktop and go to settings.
