What does this exactly do? I backed up, clicked restore then restored from my backup. What did it do?

Restore converts your iPhone back to it's original factory state. If you restore from a previous backup, it will add things like your music, apps, ect. back on to your iPhone. This is useful for people who are having issues with their iDevices.

if your device is having issues, it could be software related. Doing a restore would fix the issue if it is not a bug and or if it was software related.

I can't seem to restore or reboot my 4.2.6 I need serious help advice suggestions please it would be greatly appreciated it's been 3 weeks.... If my springboard is crashed is my iPhone still jailbroken??

How can I keep from losing everything? I still have my apps when I plug into explorer but I have no idea where or how to save them to my pc ....my springboard is crashed I'm stuck in safe mode and lock info I have no access to any factory settings whatsoever.. I haven had a phone for 3 weeks... I hope u can help me thank u ahead of time
