Exchange Issues

I have a gmail account set up via exchange.

It has been fine for months. The phone keeps saying incorrect password and is asking me for a exchange password.

Yesterday I did not get any email from the exchange account until I re envoked the password in settings.

Has anyone else had this problem lately ?

That's happened to me a few times. I just reset the password like you did.

I havent had that problem, although I dont use gmail in exchange, although I do use my university email as exchange.

I just had the problem a couple of days ago. What was strange is that the calendar still synced but not the mail. What fixed it for me was revisiting the settings on my Google Apps domain and setting it to sync. For some reason it had been switched off. (???)

I dont have google apps domain,

What about deleting the exchange account on the phone and using the google icon in email set up ?

Why is exchange better ?

If you use that one then your mail will only fetch. It doesn't use push.

I only get some emails. That is fun

You don't need google apps, just look up Google Sync. Visit the web settings page and make sure it's set up correctly.
