sudden strange battery drain

i have had my VZ iphone for about a week. i have used it jailbroken and pure. for the last 3 days ( i restored last night and have not re jailbroken) i have noticed considerable battery drain. is this cause maybe it is out of calibration or something? even witha fresh restore and everything off, (wifi,location etc) i have used it for about 30 min and im already down to 88%

thoughts?

If it's draining after a restore, my guess is you have a defective battery. Some jailbroken apps eat battery but a fresh restore should fix that in my estimation.

You may also want to try to calibrate the battery by charging to 100%, running it down to 0 and then charging it back to 100%. I had this same issue and calibrating my battery fixed the problem.
