Alarm clock

i use my iphone as my alarm clock too. is there a way to turn down the ringer, but still be able to hear my alarm?

when i turn the ringer down, it seems to turn the alarm down also, is there a setting i am overlooking?

If you put the switch in vibrate and turn your ringer up all the way, your alarm will still go off at the max volume, but any texts/calls will just vibrate. I'm not sure if you need the incoming calls and texts to be audible, but this is how I set my phone at night.
