Side Volume button not working

Hi My side volume button doesnt work. i have to go into sounds manually and adjust the volume up or down from there. this just started happening yesterday. does anybody know a solution to this

You might wanna bring it to the closest apple store. they are really good about hardware prblems they usually just give you a replacement right there on the spot, unless there is water damage or it's jailbroken. so remember to restore before making that trip to apple.
