On many of my iProducts, ie. itunes on my computer, old second generation touch, old ipods, there is a native playlist option titled "Recently Added" I really enjoy this feature and would like to have it on my iPhone... Any ideas on how to get this?

iPhone 4 (Verizon and J.B.)

Try this:

Go to iTunes, plug in your iPhone, then in the left bar under playlists, find the Recently Added playlist, click and drag onto the iPhone.

O wow, that was way too easy... I have tried that before but I must have always accidentally dropped into a pre-existing playlist, which only screwed everything up...

Thank You very much!

Remember that this is Recently Added to iTunes, NOT Recently Added to iPhone. For some reason the iPhone does not generate its own smart playlists, even though many iPods are capable of doing so.
