I updated yesterday to 4.3.1 and was originally having battery drain issues so I was hoping to have the problem solved. But this doesnt seem to be the issue. I had it at 100% at 2pm and it was already at 58% by 5 and right now its 8 and im at 37%. If it continues ill probably drop by the apple store because from reading over the net everyone has reported a good increase in their battery life.
Has anyone else been having this similar issue?

Had battery issues in 4.3. The only cure I found was a restore as new. Since then battery life has returned to normal.
I have since updated to 4.3.1 and my battery is still normal, if I dare say it, even better.

Kept checking my battery after the upgrade. I thought there was a problem with the meter. After about 4 hrs of use I am at 85% !!!! I am very happy with the upgrade.

4.3 was HORRIBLE. I lost 12 percent in 30 minutes of use (music and browsing), while now on 4.3.1, and previous builds like 4.2 in general, I got 10% per hour of screen on, music and either light messaging or browsing, or 14% an hour with very heavy messaging and browsing+music.

Much better than 4.3.

4.3.1 is amazing for me. I left it off the charger since it was 100% already when i went to sleep. I woke up 8 hours later and it only went down 2%!

I only used 4.3 for a few days before 4.3.1 was released. I can say hand on heart that the battery is lasting much longer. Also, on two occasions the lock slider has stuck but tapping the home button and trying again always worked.

Like I said, having only used 4.3 for a few days I would not greatly realise the difference but the battery is definitely better.

I have been using my iPhone for 1.5 hours this morning and have lost only 8%.

A-My battery was lasting a long time after I upgraded to 4.3.1
B- Now it is not
C- even though it is not lasting as long as it did when I first upgraded to 4.3.1 it is still not as bad as 4.3 was on battery.

not sure how you would start out with decent battery performance, on 4.3.1, and now you are not.. that is confusing.. and more for you, i'm sure

Yeah its weird. I have made no changes in apps since my upgrade on 4.3.1. Don't get me wrong, it is not horrible like 4.3. Maybe my expectations of 4.3.1 were set high after the battery lasted forever after the upgrade. Oh well.

My usage and standby are exactly same. This is after letting it go down to 20% and charging 100%. crazy, battery is not doing good at all since update. Turned off and also reset by pressing home and power button. Any info on what I need to do? TIA
