Hi my name is Steven and I am new here - I have a question that perhaps somebody can answer or help.

Does anybody know when Apple plan to activate the Radio in iPhone 3GS?
I travel everyday on the train and bus to work and like listening to a radio on my journey. At the moment I'm using a Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone just for the Radio. I know I can use Radio Apps that access the Internet for Radio Stations but as the iPhone 3GS supposedly has a Radio receiver, I would prefer to use that.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure what you are talking about. But if that was possible, they probably won't do it now especially in the 3GS. In the iPhone 4 or iPhone 5 maybe, but not the 3GS.

There is no radio tuner for AM or FM in the iPhone.

According to 9to5 Mac and TUAW, there is a radio receiver built into the 3GS but was never activated

There were rumors it might but it does not. The only iDevice with a radio tuner is the iPod Nano.
