Just tried updating mine. It didn't change after programming. It stayed at 52219.

Did you reboot the phone? As in power off, then back on? Mine appeared to not update until power cycling.

If your phone does not reset the signal, power off the device and restart and you should have the new PRL.

You are on Verizon, right?

If so - you need to call in and have tech support look things over - those 3**** PRLs are for non-smart phones. Smartphone PRLs are 5**** and 6****

30266 here also. Was 30265 prior to update. I wonder if it is due to the fact that I am on an old Alltel plan?

That explains it. But actually, even in the Alltel plans, the smartphone PRLs were 4**** - it still may be worth calling to tech support.
