    Hello all.

Just wondering if anyone has done this. I have a Atrix which i will be selling and throwing my sim card in a new iPhone 4. That being said, i was going to do the DIY sim card trimming to the 4G ready card, and installing it in the iPhone 4. Is anyone aware of any problems with doing this? Has anyone done this yet?

    Thanks!
    Rob

You should only have problems if you do it wrong. I invested $6.95 for a sim cutter tool from amazon and it works perfectly. No guessing, no measuring. Put the sim card in it, punch it down like a stapler. DONE.

I trimmed my iPhone 3G sim to fit into my iPad. It works fine. I even use the surrounding part of the original sim as an adapter, and continue to use it in my phone. I did the trimming with an exacto knife. As long as you are careful, it will work fine.

why not just go to att and get a new sim for the iphone 4? your not going to get the 4g speeds off the sim card..
