Add on to Status Bar?

I was thinking. What if someone came up with an app that could add on to your status bar on your iPhone (words, badges, letters) that were of your own choosing. Kind of like Makeitmine, except instead of changing your status bar, you could just simply add on. Like maybe go into the app, tap your status bar twice, and a keyboard would come up, and you could decide what you want to write, and where you want to write it, without actually changing the status bar. Then respring and there are your changes. Simple. I do not have the time nor the patience, or the knowlege to do this, so if someone could possibly create my idea or let me know if someone has already created it, that would be great.

This can be done already, many tweaks exist for the status bar on Cydia

Also, I was wondering if I could re-jailbreak (trying out new things) without restoring.
