I was looking for an iPhone on eBay. Found one new for $300. Sounded like a deal, till I saw shipping price of $300. They are Hoping people click buy it now real fast for that deal. Then they see they have to pay $300 in shipping.

Sounds like a ripoff. You will probably never get the phone.

They do that to avoid fees from ebay..Ebay charges you a final value fee based on your final selling price, they do not charge for shipping..He is actually not allowed to list it that way. Just report it to ebay. They don't like people ripping them off. He basically would pay half the fees by doing that.

I've seen them for $100 with $500 shipping. As stated, they do it to avoid fees.

The sad part is, that someone will buy that too. People, Ebay noobs, will not even realize it till it's too late, and pay almost full retail price for it.
