I'm wondering if it's there's a way to access thunderbird mail folders on a desktop computer. Today I needed some info in my desktop email and wondered if the iPhone could get at it. Thanks!

If it's not on your server anymore then you may have to forward it to yourself - although that would be a pain.

Do you use POP to access your email in thunderbird or IMAP?

I think the real question is whether the emails also exist on your mail server or not.

The messages aren't on the server. I want to get at the mail stored in a shared folder on the computer that receives the mail from my provider. What I want to do is access that folder remotely, so I can see the messages on the phone. I know the default mail program won't do this, but is there another way to do so? I'm looking at doing this while on my home network, I'm not going to make the files available on the net.

Thanks!
