    If you are that dependent on your mobile phone, you should consider a cheap backup phone for emergencies. (No matter who warranties your primary phone.)

    Ill have to see what I can buy really cheap without a contract or number attached. Before I switched carriers last week I did have a plethora of backups though I never needed them for myself. But I have only been with ATT for a week now so I only have these iPhones and my MIL's flip.

    We just use an old phone we keep for a back up while it's gone. Not all the iPhone goodies but a phone.

    You can find plenty of cheap GSM phones to have as a back up. TigerDirect has GSM Moto Razrs for $79.99...

    It's why I kept my dumphone around - being without my iPhone for 5 days would suck, but it wouldn't be life/career-ending.
