Question about iPhone music

I just upgraded my 3GS to the most recent software. I think, but am not sure, that it was after that point that my iPod began to play only the song I click on a given album, rather than beginning to play the whole album, which was the norm before. Now it just replays the song over and over and...over.

I looked through settings, find nothing. Any idea what I can do?

Once you select the album from the iPod app, and it starts playing (it will start from with ever song you select), make sure that the "Repeat" option is disabled. This would be the two arrows forming an oval toward the top right corner below the time that the song has played for.

When I select an album (iPhone 4 4.2.1) I have to than select a song for it to start the album from. It does not just start playing the first song.

Thanks, that worked. I've had the thing two years, and never had the occasion to click that repeat button. I still think the upgrade did it! That's my story anyway.
