If I don't read a new email within a couple of minutes, I hear this annoying "Boing, Boing" ring tone. I've looked everywhere for a setting that might need to be changed, but I just can't find anything.

How do I get rid of this alert?

I am jailbroken, but not using anything that would make that sound. I've gone through all my apps, and see nothing that would be causing it.

I'm jailbroken too and my phone never makes a noise for email. Not when I get it and not when I don't read it. You have a setting somewhere that needs turned off I'd guess.

Yeah I have never had this happen toe either, and I'm jailbroken also. It's gotta be in one of the apps you downloaded.

I asked about jailbreak, cause only a jailbreak app would cause it. Have you installed ToneFX maybe?

Do you have any of the JB notification apps installed? Many of them have repeat notifications for things like mail.
