Disable SMS pop up notifications?

Is there a way to disable the popup notification that shows up when I get a text message? I've disabled previews but still get a popup notification saying I received a text message.

My phone is always on vibrate so ideally I'd like my phone to vibrate when a new email or text arrives, and have no pop up notification, and for the unread badges to display the amount of unread texts or emails. Thanks.

iOS 5 is supposed to have better notifications, I hope so

I use this to block pop ups about games. Works pretty good.

There is no real solution on non-jailbroken iPhone 'cause Apple block the access to these functionnalities
