    Hi
New phone, and want to disable the voicemail, so my phone will just keep ringing
and not go to Voicemail. Right now rings 3X's and goes to Voicemail. I have done
this with other phones. I have called Verizon customer assistance and been to the Verizon store. Told it is a manufacturer issue- they didn't even look at the phone. Help!

No. You can't disable it. Sorry. However I am not sure if you can or cannot lengthen the ring count. I know it takes about 6 rings for my calls to go to VM on AT&T.

This is not an option on the iPhone.

Verizon can and will extend your ring... I had it done. It used to be 3 to 4 rings, now 6 to 8. Asked to get directly to tech. Don't deal with cs. Good luck !
