Charging cord?

Could apple have made thencharging cord longer? Or am I the only one with this problem? I just wish it was a longer cord that's all.

Yeah, it's a little short. I looked for some new ones but all I found were the same length. I'm sure you can get longer ones online. I never looked.

Or, one can get a USB extension cable with proper connectors on each end.

I agree that this cable is too short. There is a six foot one on Amazon.com for like $8. Here is the link to it.

Just get the usb extenstion on ebay. I got a couple on Ebay for $5 a while back. I make my
chargers long as heck lol

I personally like the shorter cord, I usually charge it off my car stereo or off my digital picture frame/iPod player/alarm clock

The short cord is an annoyance as every other charger I've had has been 5 or 6 feet. The three foot cord is convenient if it's hooked to a computer but in most other settings a longer cord is needed. Cheap move by apple. I bought a longer one for $5 on Amazon, but I was not happy about having to do so.
