My power button isn't working

My power button isn't working and it isn't sticking up as high as it should! If you shake the phone it rattles! I am going to guess the only fix is to drive an hour and forty five minutes and get the apple store to replace it!

Let me just say that having your phone broke is like having part of your body injured at work! I use my phone for my job ALOT throughout the day. This should be interesting!

I would say to at least call customer support. But I'm sure they'd have you go to an Apple
store anyway. If I were you, I'd at least make an appointment there. It's definitely a hardware
defect.

I ended up paying $69 for an AppleCare warranty and had a new phone overnighted to me. It is 2 hours to the closest store for us. Also gave me another year of warranty. The other option was pay $29 for them to overnight one since I didn't have AppleCare. So for extra $40 I got an extra year on my warranty which I was thinking about getting anyhow.
