I think this question was asked a few days ago and it didn't get an answer. I'd really like to know as well.

I've been in search of this as well - and finding nothing... short of doing the *228/option 2 and hoping for the best. I'd like to be able to see a status screen where the PRL version # is identified to know if I have the right one. Or not.

Weird. I did a search and it didn't come up with anything!

Well let's see if we get any answers this time

Agreed. Doing it once a month is a good idea even if you can't confirm you actually got an update.

However you get some satisfaction by seeing that PRL version climb higher after an update

Hey Eric . . . not to change up the subject of your post here but: I've been using Google Chrome ever since you recommended it several weeks ago and all I can say is: WOW !!

A huge difference / improvement from Internet Explorer ! I haven't looked back since.

    Thanks for the suggestion

Chrome is the way to go! Outstanding browser that I also recommend to everyone.

Back on topic...I guess this thread will disappear soon just as the other did.

    THANKS KEITH!

And not to steal his thunder, but you can save this as a contact to easily check your PRL (that was his suggestion, too!).

When this thread was new, I inquired of Verizon Tech Support via e-mail, and their response just arrived...

At the present time, you will not be able to view your PRL update on the phone itself. This may become a screen option in future, if you get any software updates, I recommend you go back and check it. The indication you will have which you are probably aware of the recording that states "Your phone has been programmed successfully." If there is ever a concern over whether it has updated or not, feel free to call us.
Ha ha - we know something Verizon Tech support doesn't know...
