Use wifi at home or is that needless battery drain?

Whenever I'm in my house should I be connected to my wifi, or is that needlessly draining the battery? Should I only connect to the wifi when I am specifically sitting down with the phone in my house and using data for a good amount of time?

I would leave your WiFi on at home. The device will use less battery being able to receive emails and other data over WiFi.

You should connect to your wifi network whenever possible. 3 reasons:

1) Faster data
2) Easier on the battery than 3G data
3) Allows for both talk and surf at the same time.

You should always connect if you can.

Amen to that. If WiFi is available, please use it and free up the 3G for those who need it.

+1. Been doing that since I got my AT&T iPhone4... VZW will be no different. WiFi uses less battery than 3G...
