4.0 GB of data usage already?

Activated my iPhone about 8 pm est yesterday, just checked the Data Usage on the device. It says under "Cellular Network Data" "Sent 4.0 GB, Received 4.0 GB"

WTF?

Logged on to My Verizon, says I've only used 8,000 k up to last night.

Couple of hits on Google for AT&T customers in past year with t his problem, not much info, though....

Happening to anyone else?

Ah ha! Someone has used your phone as a test phone before it left the factory. Reset the stats and see what it looks like after another 24 hours.

WOW. That's a ton of data. I installed about 5 or 6 apps and did some surfing/streaming of audio. I had only used about 140 MB.

Mine says that I sent 4.0G and received 4.1G worth of data.

Would that have anything to do with downloading the OS update, jailbreaking, installing cydia, new sources, and download about bunch of apps and streaming pandora all day, while I received about 150 emails so far?

lol I kid, I can be a data hog at times
