Now that everyone seems to be getting their Verizon iPhone's I was wondering about this. Can any of you initiate the death grip on your new toy? If you can find an area of low signal that is, in an elevator maybe?

No dropped calls yet. My phone said EXTENDED just one time when I was going through a bad service area.

If I purposedly cover all the antenna bars with both of my hands, the signal drops a bar or so.

I haven't seen the death grip issue so far, and the signal seems to be very strong in most places I've tried so far.

I haven't had any problems but I put a case on mine as soon as I opened the box. I'm too scared of messing up my favorite new toy soon. :P
