So I only ordered 1 iPhone, no accessories, and it's only 16 gigs. But my shipment weighs 2 lbs????

I ordered 2 iPhones and it has the same weight. Sounds like it's standard box capacity for maximin limit not actual contents weight.

I am in the same boat, it actually started out at 1 pound and then went to 2 half way through its journey.

I've noticed that any shipment I get from VZW always starts out as 1 lb, and somewhere along the way it gets weighed and updated.

I've noticed that any shipment I get from VZW always starts out as 1 lb, and somewhere along the way it gets weighed and updated.

A lot of companies do this when free shipping is involved, that way they don't have to weigh the packages, and when UPS weighs it, they get billed for the actual weight, rather than paying too much if they overestimate the weight, or if their scales are off. Of course, there is no recourse if UPS's scales are off
