my iphone doesnt sound

my iphone 4 doesnt play songs n ringing when receiving calls
but if i plug an earphone , it sounds
does anyone knows why ?

did you check the mute switch next to the volume buttons, if it is orange its on mute.

First check your sound setting may be you have muted the sound, but if the volume is set to 100% and there is still no sound than maybe your built-in speakers are damaged. You have to get in touch with a hardware repairer.
