How exactly do you get the so called multi tasking to work in an iphone 4?
I have tried many apps that were designed for ios4 multi tasking, yet they do not multi task. For example, apps that play music like tunein. I want to listen to music while reading an email.
I am using backgrounder right now, and that's the only way I can really get it to work.

Ummm, open the app, hit play, and then hit the home button. Should be that easy.

You sure you have a 3GS or iP4? Those are the only ones to multitask....

Also, perhaps(since you have backgrounder) your Jailbreak has messed up your multitasking...

Either way, small potatoes kids type stuff. Read Apple's support site, it's all there

The app may not be truely a multitask app. if you play music on Pandora or Slacker, you will get true multitasking

Settings, TuneIn Radio...flick "Pause in Background" to off.

Thats just to get to the switcher and shows what apps are currently open. That doesnt affect which apps will truely multitask on the phone.

Yep, not all third party apps work with multitasking.
