From what I read, don't use the reference order number. Use the order number which is different. In your order confirmation you have both. Here's mine

Order Reference Number: 91557XXXX4320003
Order Date: 02/03/2011
Location Code: DXXXXXX
Order Number: 482

You want to use the one in bold.

i tried this but it didnt work...maybe because mine is UPS not fed ex. I see alot shipping out from West Chester, PA for UPS...that only about 45 minutes away from me.. still no email though.

Yeah it didn't work me either so I'm guessing either mine hasn't shipped or it's did but it's UPS. But it will work for some though.

for doing tracking by reference it is basically just looking up in the system for any extra info attached to your package besides tracking number. So for fedex you can put up to 30 different things to look for. I would put in everything you have ref #, your name, address, order number, location. same with ups.
