Had to order from Apple, the stupid Verizon site said my shipping address was invalid even though it's my Verizon biling address. OH well got it! 16gb

I just placed my order and haven't received my confirmation email yet, but Verizon's confirmation screen said "Expected Delivery Date: 2/10/2011."

It sounds like the confirmation email uses that as the shipping date.

FWIW, according to the Apple Web-site, shipping is on 2/9/2011 with delivery on 2/10/2011. However, I ordered on the Verizon site.

Got my full-retail price pre-order done at Apple.com so I paid $599 instead of the $649.99 that Verizon is charging. After tax, I saved $54 which more than covers the accessories that I bought a few weeks ago.

That was amazingly easy. I am very pleased. Placed an order for a 32GB iPhone...can't believe I'm finally saying that after many years of impatient waiting.

Still waiting for my order number. Only have my confirmation number right now.

There is a handy-dandy "check iPhone status" button on the Verizon website. It at least (re) confirmed that it was purchased and ready to roll. No expected delivery date, YET...

Verizon site declined my card and wanted a business name for shipping address but didn't provide a space. Not a good experience!
Got on Apple site and it went flawless. Delivers by the 10th. Now just hope there will be no screw ups when I ordered thru Apple instead of Verizon.
Fingers crossed and back to bed.
