Well - those of us that hit the link while it was viable at least got to preview Apple's process - from my previous experience with Verizon's on-line ordering, Apple's is easier to use... come next week, I'll give Apple a go, and if that doesn't work - will try MyVerizon.

Apple's site will interface with Verizon's account records and give you the price you're eligible for... and will allow you to select a plan, and text messaging feature as well.

I have to us the Verizon site. I have a Verizon $100 gift certificate. don't think Apple is going to take that.
