Following our report last week about the white iPhone 4 appearing in an internal Best Buy inventory database with a February 27th release date and similar reports of listing sightings with Vodafone Germany, BGR now notes that the white iPhone 4 has appeared as an option for users managing their AT&T accounts online. The option appears in a section of the site where users can specify their current phone if the one automatically generated by AT&Ts systems is incorrect.

AT&T is now showing two versions of Apples unicorn-colored iPhone. The entries appear in AT&Ts Online Account Management system (OLAM), and read as iPhone 4 16GB White and iPhone 4 32GB White. While the carriers online account tool obviously wouldnt include any indication as far as when we might expect white iPhone 4 models to hit the store shelves, its looking like late February or early March at this point.

While we have been unable to confirm that these options are indeed new, we have verified that they are present on AT&Ts site. Also unknown is whether the growing number of listings are based on actual information on the devices availability being provided by Apple or if the carriers and retailers are simply preparing their systems for a potential launch based on Apples most recent public claims of spring availability.

People should put absolutely ZERO effort into attention on the white iPhone until it is physically in the stores where you can buy it. Since the iPhone 4 came out, there has been THOUSANDS of rumors and stories about release dates, conspiracies, etc...you'd have just as much legitimacy talking about an iPhone with garden gnomes that pop out and clean it every few minutes.

If it's anything like the white iPhone 3G, avoid it like the plague. I had to exchange my 3G twice because the housing kept cracking. The answer I got from Apple was that the polymer in the White housings was not as strong, and was more susceptible to cracking.

I'm with Sean, eh. I like the look of the black iPhone 4. It looks like a monolith.

There is a big difference between a plastic back and a glass back. Why would it be anything like the white 3G?
