...But I was pleasantly surprised lol. When I went on the verizon website a few minutes ago, I clicked on the 'it begins' button just to see if there was anything new. I noticed that, at the bottom near the upgrade eligibility and all that, there's a new option for trade-ins. I tried it to see what I could get for my phone and it was $80 which I think is a pretty good deal seeing as I got it for free just thought I would let you guys know about it. Any little bit helps these days.

I guess it is pretty good now that I think of it. Paid $200 for it new so that is a decent return.

Always a good idea to have a back up. So you can turn it on while you send your currently phone away for repairs. My wife just had to do that last week, and so had a phone to use for 4 days while hers was being repaird.

Agreed! Verizon offered me $18 for my Palm Pre. Gazelle? $74, +5% bonus with a code, so about $78. That will cover my new case and invisashield.

with verizon's trade-in service that can be found on their website, is the htc incredible eligible since it is such a new phone because I see this disclaimer at the bottom:

Do not trade in devices that are to be returned under Verizon Wireless' Return and Exchange Policy, Warranty, or Extended Warranty programs.

What does that mean exactly since the htc incredible from verizon is less than a year old. I didnt get any additional warranty on it.

I would take that as if you are having a device replaced under warranty not to send the device that is having problems in for the trade in program.

That and if you want to swap a phone within the 14-day trial window, you must return it to Verizon, not send it in for a trade-in.
