Apple customer service says, "The iPhone 4 will still be the same one offered. The iPhone 4 bumper and cases will still fit properly."

Does Apple customer service not have a clue or is this possible?

Well considering the bumpers now have packaging, the bumpers could have slightly been altered to fit both iphones. Or maybe they can fit as is. Im sure Apple thought about this way prior.

There has been a video released and news among iPhone forum sites such as this one showing the new "B" version Bumper that has increased the size of the vibrate switch hole so it will fit either.

It just sounded like the guy was trying to say that "existing" cases will fit the Verizon iPhone.

Maybe. I don't know what EXACTLY he said, he could have ment the new ones, witch are the ones that will be sold from here on out or the old ones.

Regardless, the new ones are in and they will fit both.
