I was wondering we have 3G service now and LTE 4G in I think 38 major cities so will they keep both 3G and 4G service going even after LTE is fully implemented in 2013?

reason I wonder is maybe it would offer customers a cheaper data plan using the older 3G service.

    any thoughts-speculation?

No speculation. Verizon has gone on record multiple times saying they will operate their 3G network well into the future.

Only speculation on pricing. Hard to say. We should wait and see how they price data for their 4G smartphones when they release later this year.
