So today the chronic dev team released a video that the untethered jailbreak for 4.2.1 is right around the corner! And I was afraid we'd have to wait until after 4.3 or 5.0 .. Glad to see I was wrong!

Yea, I didn't realize how convenient a lot of the jailbreak features were until I no longer had it. I miss bitesms soo much!

My first i4 came with 4.0.1 so I jailbroke it the first day. I miss the JB a lot, but a stock i4 is better than the Torch I just sold. The i4s browser actually works-LOL.

Beyond my first time doing a Jailbreak on my first iPhone (back in mid-June 2009, about a week after the 3GS was released and I got my hands on a 3G) I've never had any issues. Once you get a hang of going into recovery and DFU mode, and feel comfortable with apps that create custom .IPSW files it's really not that bad, there is a wealth of information around the web about how to do it for nearly every generation of iPhone, just take your time.
