BUAHAHAHA! Winner. :D
If tapatalk allowed rep I would be attempting to add about a million for you right now BLiNK!
I'm gonna pull the average down at the moment. 21 years old as of last week.
Happy Bilated Birthday
Also a thank you and lol to BLiNK :) And I'll go ahead and pull the average up again-48.
Another thanks to Blink, and I'm gonna pull the average age way back up again - I'm 52.

44 here. 42 when started.
Wife 37 with my old 3GS.
I think we're the youngest. I'm about a month older than you, I turned 21 on December 6th.
66 and counting.
64 and ahead of most!
I'm 23. My friend is 49. I know a lot of "older" people who have iPhones.
I'm turning 21 Feb. 20th. Funny that I am a lot more mature then those who are throwing a fit because I don't own an iPhone. oh well.....
Not an iPhone but an iPod Touch user.
15...
Another 35 yr young "kid" here!
24 here...
I'm 15 bout to be 16 with my iphone 4 c:
19.
But this isn't representative of all users, merely of those who also use this forum. It's a demographic cross-section and typically certain age groups are more likely to use forums than others.
At the very least this is unscientific. Lol
But stats never come from a true representation of the population. (Ever read "How to Lie with Statistics?"
I am surprised, though, at the average age of the forum user here. I'd always guessed it to be a younger group in general.
I am 40 and wife 38
I'm still trying to wean her from her Crackberry, and convince her to get the Verizon Iphone. She loves that thing for some reason.
Well happy early birthday! I like to think I'm mature for my age as well, I've never had a drink or touched drugs in my life. I was excited about turning 21 though, but not because of being able to drink (because I don't plan on it), but because now I can get my concealed weapon permit. ;)
Me too. This is off topic but you remind me very much of my 9th grade English teacher, but you seem to be a much nicer woman than she. :p
After reading through this thread and seeing some of the member's ages, some of the discussions and retorts i've read and received are much more understandable now! Great thread! hahaha...
27 big ol' years.
Got my concealed carry. I keep it between my driver's license and my military id.
If you ask my 9th grade students they might argue the nice part. ;) I'm very strict.
28 here. Just old enough to really appreciate that all my favorite 80's cartoons are being turned into movies. Oh...also a concealed handgun person. :)

Thanks. I never have taken drugs and never will. I did drink a few times when I was 16-17, but I was going though some hard times, and I'm now just finally getting over it.Once I turn 21 I'll go out for my first "legal" drink, but I wont abuse it. Have the occasional beer once in a while, but I wont get my self drink.
on topic:
I think the only one who will truly know the average would be Apple and the itunes accounts, though people sometimes put the wrong age down. (11 year old saying they are 35)
Have my CWP also. Im 53.
I can't wait to get mine. I'm lucky because I don't have to take the safety classes, my dad can just write a letter (he's a police Lt.) saying he taught me the safety aspects. I'm going to his house tonight for family dinner, as we do every Sunday, so I'll get the ball rolling then. My health has been kind of terrible since my birthday though, so that's why I haven't done it yet. And what type of gun are you carrying, Alli? I have several but the one I'm going to carry is a sub-compacy Glock. My brother (who is also a cop) bought it for me for my 20th birthday.
I don't have any issues with strict, but I do have issues with rude and insensitive, both of which my English teacher was. We had several blow-outs, the greatest of which occurred when she told me that being in the hospital with Meningitis (all three types, no less) was no excuse for missing her class.
From what I see I think any age that is leading the pack is not winning buy a huge margin.
Wow, we have a lot of gun people. What's everyone carrying?
I think we have another thread (and if not, time to start one) discussing pistols. Best not to hijack this thread any more than we've already done.
Doesn't matter. What's your age?
Sorry, that was my fault.
Sure it does, just not in this thread. And I already stated my age. ;) I'm 21.
I'm 42 love my iPhone and I have a CCW. I carry my ip4 and a walther p-99

haha, I teach 9th grade Oklahoma History. They think I'm pretty strict.
Well I had the first gen iPhone and now I'm on the iPhone 4. I also had the 3G. I'm 25 now. So when I was 20 or 21. Depending on when I got my first gen iPhone. I don't remember. :(. Haha.

31 years waiting for Verizon iPhone..... :D
I'm not a current iPhone user...yet. :) BTW 25
Interesting how the numbers are tallying up via the IPHONE users age.
I don't have one yet either, but am hoping that Sprint sees one soon.
If not, I'm going to have to end up switching service to Verizon.
Waiting to see what happens.
Sprint missed their chance years ago...i doubt they'll ever sell the iPhone specific for use on the Sprint network.
Sprint will only sell it so it can be part of their flagship devices. Plus they are pushing "4G".
34 here. And unless apple dies I'll be at least 65( unless I die) using their products.
Hey folks iam so glad this is going good...If you like this thread feel free to thank me by hitting the magic button....
Oh ya CCW here also....
46 years young! ;)
24 years old. IP4 16 GB.
Just turned 18.
I see in your signature it says you're going to get an iPhone 4, but what carrier and phone do you have now?
Will be 23, a month away from 24 when I pick up my VZW iPhone in a few weeks.
Wow, I was just reading through this thread and I am very surprised to learn how many users are carring concealed weapons... O_O I think that's a little more interesting than the age demographic.
I'm shocked. I guess Americans are more likely to carry weaponry, I don't know a single person in my life who carries a gun on them.

Our age group currently holds the top spot w00t!!
It prob has alot to do with location too...i know that in the south, people who carry weapons is ALOT more prevalent than you'd see up north (especially with hand gun bans in so many areas)...i have a concealed and exposed weapons permit (99% for work), and pretty much every person i know (including my wife) owns a fire arm. Up north, my brother, his family and all of his neighbors think its weird...
Age, location, etc...lots of factors.
:DOur age group currently holds the top spot w00t!!
I guess so! But I'm just kinda surprised that people who frequent iPhone forums also happen to be people who own fire arms. I guess I am ignorant about it because where I live, nobody carries a gun around. I thought it would only be people in the deep south, wearing overalls with 2 teeth named Betty-Sue and Cleetus carrying around rifles at Wal-Mart. That's a pretty offensive picture I've painted in my head. lol
^^^ The funny thing about that is, while ALOT of people have that same picture, most of those redneck hillbillys cant get a concealed weapons permit because they have criminal backgrounds, lol!
Yeah it is. It's not as bad down here as everyone stereotypes it... ;)
I dont carry or own a firearm. I had a friend in HS that killed himself by playing with his fathers gun. I also had 2 former co-workers from previous jobs murdered on seperate occaisions. One was execution style. Also, my uncle chose to take his own life with a gun. I dont believe in them as if they didnt exist, lives would be saved
I don't want to derail this thread anymore...but i would love to debate this with you.
I still would feel extremely uncomfortable if a bunch of people around me were carrying concealed weapons. I sometimes get the urge to do crazy stupid things like punch someone in the face for being a ****. I never do it, but if I were just a little more crazy, I probably would. So I'm not gonna trust a bunch of people around me with varying levels of crazy and guns...
The mystery of not knowing keeps some folks in check... Thats kind of the point.
Exactly what I was going to say. Location has so much to do with it, but I don't know as many people as young as me (21) who carry.
Yes, that's quite offensive. LOL! I think you can probably tell from my picture (go to Twitter in my signature and blow it up to see it better) that I'm not a redneck and I don't wear overalls. I also live in Virginia though, which is hardly the deep south. I don't associate with any person who even vaguely fit your description, but I also don't know many people like that. Another reason I carry though is because of the way I was raised. I come from a family of cops and my dad took me to the shooting range instead of the park as a kid, so that definitely had a lot to do with it. I've had guns all my life but I just got my Glock last Christmas (of 2009). My friends also appreciate the fact that I carry, especially if we're in a bad area or something - it's a safety blanket for them.
Not just anybody can get a license to carry a concealed weapon. I think it should be more strict than it is, but it's not like buying a piece of candy. And everyone wants to punch someone every now and then, but it's what we don't do that separates us.
I'm 33 ( quickly closing in on 34 ) my fiancee will be turning 27 in Feb.
17...1 more till 18
Why do you think two walmart stores in Arizona denied jared lee loughner a sale of a gun? Sad the third one granted him the sell, thoughn I'm sure he would have gotten one regardless if a store sold him one or not.
Did I not say I wish the laws were stricter? And of course he would have gotten a gun regardless. I'm not going to talk about that anymore though, something about the whole thing just really creeps me out and affects me. Beyond that though, it has absolutely nothing to do with the topic of the thread.
Guys keep this on topic please if you wanna chat about guns and stuff start your own thread...Thanks...
Sorry, we just keep getting off topic because all there is to post on topic is two numbers.
Who cares if it's one number, stay on topic. 98
Calm down, it was a joke. And you're not on topic by saying you're 98. Take a deep breathe dude.

I think I'm an average :-)
31 years old. - AT&T iPhone 4 32 GB, AT&T iPad 3G 32 GB.
I'm 17, but I got my 3GS when I was 16. I know, I'm young. And yes, my parents pay for my bill. They pay for it because I'm in every Advanced Placement class and don't have the time for a job outside of school.

Have 3 iphone 4's in my household. I'm 38, my two daughters are 14 & 15.
I would hope older people would be mature enough not to give you a hard time about something so trivial, but that's not always the case. I was in AP classes as well and I know it's difficult. I didn't have a job either and I've never made an apology for that - you shouldn't either. Your job is doing well in school.

Average?
Me 22 and wife 24. Plus her entire family so lots of age groups there.
Would be interesting to see how this matches up to cell phone users in general. What the avg age would be for other type phone users?
