if you dont need the 32 gigs then dont spend the extra 100 bucks i mean you will still get good resale for a 16 gig if you wanted to sell it later on

you all got my thinking with the HD video. That 32g might be the way to go. With not camera on the Ipad1 I should not use that to compare how much memory I'll use.

well if you have an ipad why not put all your movies on that and then use the iphone for just music/apps and pictures. I mean otherwise what is the point of having the ipad?

I'll be getting the 16GB model. I've never gotten into putting music on my phone and I have an iPod Shuffle for when I work out at the gym, which is the only time I really use a music player.

Pretty sure I'm going with the 32 GB. I have an upgrade available, but in order to reduce the price even further I'm selling my 32 GB iPod Touch 3rd Gen. on eBay. Have about 10 gigs of music on there already.

Buy the biggest you can or you may regret it later. Apps are big. I have apps that are 250, 500, 750MB's, 1GB alone. The HDR pics and HD video use a lot of memory. I cant tell you how many people I see regret it later

Definitely go with the 32. It never hurts to have extra space.. But I guess if you are only a causal user then a 16GB might suffice.

If money isn't a consideration you want the one with the "bigger Gee Bees". Without any removable storage options you'll be locked into whatever capacity you start with so,yes,"bigger is better". Remember, unless you're planning to pay full retail later this will be your phone for the next 20 months.

I think that is wrong! I do a lot of selling and buying phones on Ebay and 8gb, 16gb & 32gb iPhones do not go for the same price. Storage does make a difference. I don't see 32gb 3GS going $150.00 and anyone who would pay over to $300 for a 8gb iPhone (which is what 32gb iphones are selling for now) has issues!!!

I agree, I do a lot of selling (iPhones) and the 32's go for much more than the 16's....at least a hundred more..in my experience..

32gb for three reasons
1 Hopefully I can use my ne2 so it will be around $250
2 Unlike my droid I cant just pop a new mem card, so I wont have to manage my storage
3 Resale, If a newer phone comes out, I will prob get more $$

I'm sticking with the 16GB. That is all my Pre has right now and with all the stuff I have stored on it I still have 12GB left. Plus my iTunes library is only 4GB so I'm not really going to need the 32.

The iPhone has a great camera (for a cell phone), and shoots 720p video. That can chew up a ton of space. Going on a family vacation with a 32gb (minus your content) HD camcorder is nice.

Hmmmm, now I am thinking that I should maybe go for the 32gb

I'll be getting the 16gb one cause I already have an 80gb ipod classic and an 32gb ipod touch. I'll be paying full retail price so the extra $100 dollars is a bit much. :)
