I think it remains to be seen if the Mobile Hotspot is included with the data plan, or an added feature cost... The last Palm devices on Verizon included the hotspot for no extra fee. If it's included... awesome!
Im just happy they have finally announced it, all these jackwaghons on these forums that say it aint comming, there is no way it will be here. Well Its here jackwagons so keep it shut and deal with your crappy service elsewhere......Ha...
Of course you'll pay through nose for it. Probably 30 a month It'll be slow verizon 3G though and can't make calls while using it. Better to
be on att and jb.

$30/month data is what smart phone users already pay on Verizon... no big deal.
Simultaneous voice & data: Another red-herring, not a deal breaker as CDMA smart phone phone users have lived with that and those who truly need that have data solutions at their disposal that don't involve their smartphone.
i am so excited they finally announced the verizon iphone, i had th OG iphone and the 3g, but i left for verizon because my service sucked...now ill be able to dump my droid for the iphone!!
I thought I read $99 for 16G and $199 for 32G. Could be a moron though. However, I am excited. Had the BB Storm for 1.5 years waiting for this to finally occur. Yes, I still have a Storm ;-(
I think that was a typo, on Verizon's website it says starting at $199, and the annoucement I read today said $199/16G $299/32G. I still have the Storm 1 as well, can't wait to get rid of it.
chances are you will pay extra for the hotspot. I mean, why would you pay a high price for a data plan that includes mobile hotspot if you are not gonna use it.
I say around $30 a month, maybe less if they want to stay competive (Sprint's hotspot phones cost an additional $30 a month for the hot spot feature and some phones, like my EVO can do up to 8 devices)
